Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"The Solovair Dubbin is excellent. It is easy to apply, works into the leather nicely, and leaves the boots feeling well conditioned without making them look overly shiny. I especially like it for the Gaucho Crazy Horse leather, as it helps keep the leather supple and gives it a well cared-for appearance while preserving the more natural, rugged character of the finish.
