Our Goodyear welted footwear is a little larger than most other brands. We would therefore recommend you either purchase a pair of our cushioned socks with our footwear in your regular size, as they offer about 1/2 a size extra fitting, or you go 1/2 a size smaller than you typically wear.

Due to the nature of Gaucho leather used, each product may differ in finish and may require a layer of Dubbin wax to achieve the pictured look.
Applying a suede protectant before wearing your footwear for the first time will help guard the surface. A suede brush can be used to remove dust and restore the nap after each use. Suede and Nubuck finishes should be kept away from large amounts of water due to its porous quality.

"Very well made, substantial, great leather. The fit is a bit weird though. Narrow in the tow and wide in the back. Slips off the heal despite choosing a half size down. It gets better with a thin insole to push the foot up against the “tongue” area. A tough fit if you have a long and narrow foot. Might be easier for a wide and “meaty” foot."

"The quality of the leather is very good, almost better than the pictures as well as the stitching. They fit large for me as I usually wear a size 10. 5, but the extra space in the toe box makes up for the little bit of heel slippage. I bought some heel spacers to fix the problem and they’re pretty much perfect now."

I never wear anything other than a size 8 and have a pair of Solovair brogues in an 8 that are the same last and they fit fine. However, for some reason these loafers in a size 8 were way too big as was the 7. 5 that I exchanged them for. I then exchanged those for a size 7 and was gutted to find them way too small."

"Great pair of loafers. Wanted them for ages. Colour is lighter in reality than on a screen. Building is strong, quality feeling is high. Comfort is great, as it is with every Solovair I own. Shipping is supersonic. I own a pair of Monkey boots, size 9, my wife has boots, loafers and brogues. She told me to get the same size for boots and loafers, it’s very true. But it’s a whole size under in comparison with sneakers, for example."
