"I’m a bit confused about what to write here, tbh. On the one hand, these are the most expensive boots I’ve ever bought, and I’d been waiting a few months before finally biting the bullet and hitting 'Buy Now'. Then I took them out of the box and… hmm. They looked a bit cheap. Not quite the grand entrance I was expecting after all that waiting. I’ve got a few pairs from a 'similar brand', and somehow those speak to me a bit more. Maybe it’s because they’re heavier. Literally. That said, there’s absolutely nothing to fault Solovair. They’re surprisingly comfortable, and I managed to get the sizing right first time by following the info for this particular sole, although it honestly felt a bit like shoe-size roulette. They’re really well made too. The leather is thick but soft, and I didn’t get a single blister when I wore them for a full day straight out of the box. Maybe I was expecting more of a proper dandy’s boot and what I actually got was more of an old-school British 80s boot. And, well… fair enough. Maybe that’s on me. Either way, absolutely love them. Highly recommended!"
