NPS SOLOVAIR DATA BREACH
We respect the privacy of our customers and your personal information, which is why we are contacting you to advise of an event that resulted in the potential disclosure of some of your personal data. Password and payment information was NOT compromised as we have no access to this information.
On Tuesday 26th July 2022 at 8am BST an unauthorised party gained access to our (NPS Solovair) website platform (Shopify). The access was as a result of a compromised staff user account. This account had limited privileges but did have access to customer information.
If we have contacted you, your information might have been compromised. The data that the unauthorised party could have accessed includes name, address, email address and phone number. No password information or payment information was accessed.
We have resolved the issue, identified how it happened and taken steps to ensure it does not happen again. Our website (nps-solovair.com) is functioning normally and all unauthorised access has been revoked. The relevant authorities have been notified about this event. We have increased security for staff login procedures and are providing additional staff training across the company.
There is no action you need to take at this time. Please be vigilant of all communication, NPS Solovair will never ask you to provide password info or change passwords, and we will never ask you to provide any personal details or provide payment details via email.
We are experiencing a high volume of emails so please kindly only contact us at email@example.com and include the term “Security Notice – Data Breach” in the main body of your email if you have any genuine concerns.
